To celebrate our 300th anniversary, explore 3 centuries of colour expertise through our archives. Our savoir-faire has allowed us to develop unique colours that last over time. Thanks to close collaborations with the greatest painters, we have therefore created colours that adapt to the needs of each artist.

Linel: Designers' Gouache
The new range of Linel extra-fine gouache has been modernised recently. Afterwards, it was tested and approved by artists and teachers of Art and Graphic Design Schools. As a result, the reorganised palette counts now 78 rich and balanced shades, chosen for their intense and fine pigments and are very opaque.
For instance, the new Linel palette includes 5 new Cadmium-free colours. It's an exclusive innovation created by Lefranc Bourgeois in 2017, and an eco-responsible alternative that keeps all the strength and power similarly to cadmium colours. Moreover, three new metallic colours have been added to the range. They are made from solid and light resistant pigments allowing a quality and long-lasting rendering, bringing to its users new chromatic values.

Tutorial : The colour highlight
Learn how to create a colour highlight with multidisciplinary artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. Our new video tutorial will show you how to work on your compositions by adding light in order to reveal the dimensions of an object. For example, using first our Nan-King inks to draw the shapes and finally our new range of Linel extra-fine gouache to create volume.
