LINEL: DESIGNERS' GOUACHE

The new range of Linel extra-fine gouache has been modernised recently. Afterwards, it was tested and approved by artists and teachers of Art and Graphic Design Schools. As a result, the reorganised palette counts now 78 rich and balanced shades, chosen for their intense and fine pigments and are very opaque.

For instance, the new Linel palette includes 5 new Cadmium-free colours. It's an exclusive innovation created by Lefranc Bourgeois in 2017, and an eco-responsible alternative that keeps all the strength and power similarly to cadmium colours. Moreover, three new metallic colours have been added to the range. They are made from solid and light resistant pigments and bring new chromatic values.

Our studio gouache is ideal for working with mixtures of primary colours. Recommended in art schools. A soft and creamy paste loaded with pigments and easy to apply.

Coloured drawing gum

Drawing gum – also known as masking fluid and liquid frisket – is a product that makes it easy to create striking graphic effects. The drawing gum can be applied to both blank and prepared surface.

Applied to the surface prior to the application of colours, it enables you to mask off areas that you don’t want to be coloured. It can be easily rubbed off to reveal the surface below after drying for several minutes.

The drawing gum can be used regardless of technique, such as gouache, acrylic, watercolour, or ink. The new blue-coloured gum makes it easier to see the outline created.

Inks

Discover the intense colours of our Nan-King drawing inks. They don't lose their brightness and luminosity when drying and over time. The Nan-King Indian ink is an indelible liquid black ink that is also highly resistant to fading.

We also offer a range of water-based inks for linocut block printing, with 12 bright colours available. The block printing inks have a uniform coverage that is perfect for printmaking with materials such as linoleum, wood or flexible printing plates. They are easily washable with water.
